Creative Soundpaddle

Softday in collaboration with City Kayaking are organising Dublins first ever creative soundpaddle listening tour and workshop through the Dublin city centre.

This workshop will focus on listening. The tour is intended to enhance participant’s perception of sound and silence, offering a unique approach for the soundscapes of the River Liffey. This will enhance our skills in listening, mindfulness, and attuning to place. On completion of the tour the participants will collectively create a sound map of their experience.

This workshop is open to all creative practitioners and members of the public who are interested in exploring Acouscenic Listening as a creative listening tool. No previous experience of any of the disciplines involved is needed.

This sound tour is part of Softday’s Uisce Salach (Dirty Water) art/science project.
